Clear Time 00:27 Rate for Collecting Items is 24%
A few monthes ago, some people said "I hate Murder-Beam-Glith". I created a smv file, without Murder-Beam-Glith. (Re-record from Last-Energy-Recharge-Room, after Baby-Metroid.)
Please choice which is better, new smv or old smv.
Old movie(Used Murder-Beam-Glitch) is here. Forum/Topics/1528
Other improvements. 1- Improved Zebetites Glitch. (few frames faster.) 2- Improved the time of Last-Escape. (about 1.5second faster.)

Would it be worth it to not waste your missles? Or is your charged beam more than enough in power to make up for its lack of speed? EDIT: My grammar teacher would kill me if she saw what poor excuse of a sentence I just wrote.

To Warp You're welcome. :) But I think that MF's movie will be more exciting than mine. To Locke Hm,many people think so... To OmnipotentEntity Sorry about my unchanged poor English.(^^;)
not waste your missles?
Does this mean the scene of MotherBrain's-awakening? If "Yes", 'waste missiles' has no worth.(^^;) Of cource, I don't need any missiles in Second-MotherBrain battle, and Third(Last)-MotherBrain battle.
Or is your charged beam more than enough in power to make up for its lack of speed?
If you write the FRAME of smv, I maybe understand your meaning.(^^;) Will you write it? (Or Will anyone explain to me?)

He's asking if the power of the charged shots on Mother Brain is quicker then using missles that shoot faster. Arigato for the run BTW. :)

Thanks,OgreSlayeR. I interpreted like this. "If you use Missiles, Can you beat MotherBrain more fast?" If my translation is right, the answer is NO. If my translation is wrong, wow sorry...

michael flatley said that ClearTime-00:27 was not fastest time. So, this movie (maybe) far from the perfect. If I or someone makes a new movie of any% by michael's technique, it will be a Star. Or, michael flatley's 100%run will be a Star. Anyway, this is just my opinion. And now I don't know how to shorten 1minutes or more.

I just think it's funny that a movie goes from having a star, to being slightly faster due to a change at the end of the game, and no longer has a star.

It just means that the one who published the movie (Dehacked) wasn't the one who is the only one (Bisqwit) who can control which movies have those stars. And since I was away for a couple of days, I didn't notice it either. I'll add it now - thanks for notifying.

This is confusing. I'm using improvement7, and this run kept desync-ing even though I had WIP timing turned on. So I turned it off and ran it again, and it desync-ed again. So I turned it back on, along with fake mute and sync sounds with CPU, and it didn't desync. Then I turned off those options, just leaving WIP timing on, and it still did fine all the way to the end. Glad to finally see this run! Nice job.

Always forgot to post here but it's indeed a very good run. The boss fights (except the Phantoon-trick) are very well done especially Ridley where you calculated everything exactly to the last shot and let yourself grab by him making him explode even faster. Also the use of Speed-Flying before and in Wricked Ship to kill some enemies fast and save Missles is very fast and nice. Without a doubt one of the best runs on this site!

Are you making a faster run than this one? If that's so, I say good luck :) I just can't imagine a faster and better movie than this ;)

Not sure if Terimakasih plans to do a faster one. I think he mean only the runs which are planed right now by Saturn (RBO Suitless Run) & JXQ (100% Run). See this thread the last pages: Super Metroid

Basically, the spazer and plasma beams are not meant to be used at the same time. However, by moving fast enough in the weapons menu, you can't equip the two beams at the same time. This creates a glitch known as the "murder beam". As for the actual logistics of the weapon, well... as far as I can remember, you have to face to the right or left when you set the 'beam' (which is actually just a ball of glitchiness), or else the game will crash. The ball that is dropped alters a lot of the things that touch it, killing some and not affecting others. I also think that turning around, shooting, or deactivating the weapon set up will crash the game. Don't quote me on this stuff, but it's the best I can remember. If you check metroid2002.com or samus.co.uk, you can probably find a lot of info on this glitch.
