I'd love too se that. Myself, I never completed the game 'cause I got stuck in some kind of dungeon but the game itself is realy good. I'll gladly watch this game!

I started to TAS this game because I found it pretty funny ;D. I'm wondering if there's any interest in this run, if it is I might continue. Here's a WIP of the first three levels http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1495946998/Dragon%27s%20Lair%20%28U%29.smv Edit: Forgot to mention: This WIP is aiming for all levels, as I don't use the secret exit in the first level to skip to the 4th. Or shall I skip as many levels as possible? E: Well, I have more or less cancelled this now=P. So don't expect anything more.

Ressurecting bump for this thread, I'm very interested in making this game, since there is a NES version of it, it surely should be good to have the SNES version as well and the ideia list shows this game , and with good planning I think its possible to make a good run out of it... would like to hear ideias about this game, I'm not sure about which game level to use, normal or expert... it just changes character life container, on normal level you begins with 2~3 while on expert you dont begin with 0... and damage is very necessary to save time... but also a expert level gameplay should make a good show to watch... here is a WIP with the first 3 stages... just a demo, it can be improved... just made to show to you guyz watch and comment about strategies and routes and damage use Microstorage used emulator Snes9x 1.51

I'm now working on this with laranja. We're playing on Expert, which limits you to one shield (can take one hit). We could go faster on a lower difficulty.

Nice! I started a run of this awhile ago as well, didn't really reach that far. There are some improvements in the first level to be made. You can for example fall down to the secret exit from the top platform, instead of landing on the platform above the exit. The extra health could have been picked up faster as well. It's pretty important to plan a route for the damage throughout the run, as a lot of time can be saved by taking damage. So a testrun should definetely be made to begin with, if you haven't already. Looking forward to this!

Yeah the jump from the top plataform was possible, thanks for that Tompa. About the extra health, I had to make a full jump to not make the barrel just ahead to respawn, it should be worse to jump over it. In the entire run it will be possible to only take 3 damage if I'm right, since we are playing on the hardest dificult, plus we cant backtrack for collect health unless it saves more time than foregoe! Thanks for the advice!

The run is 75% complete. World 4 presents the biggest challenge in terms of route planning.
