Capcom's created a new website dedicated to everything Capcom (how modest!). I think this will be an improvement over the previous Capcom communities, and hopefully get Capcom more savvy on what the players think. The site has this weird "ammo" thing going on, where you earn points for doing stuff. I don't know if there's a point to this, other than "look, I'm on a top ten list!" They also give tasks, which I know nothing about because the site has just started. Anyway, there's a lot of Mega Man fans around here, so I thought I'd spread the word. http://www.capcomcity.com

Well, I don't know why these things never hit me until late in the afternoon, but there's always a chance of an elaborate prank. I only say that because magicthegathering.com had a false premium membership you could sign up for.

No, I think it's real. It seems like a revival of the old Fighters' Edge community (points for performing tasks that can be traded for merchandise) but a lot easier to use (because it's all online rather than via mail). Edit: It would be so awesome if I could transfer all of my Fighters Edge points... haha, I would make #1 so easily....

Also, here's something else Capcom-related! For those who don't know, it's a preview for Namco X Capcom, a crossover game in the vein of Super Robot Taisen. The password for the zip file is "cross".

Yeah, Capcom City seems legit to me. Privacy statement and everything. But nobody loves a good April 1st joke like people on the internet. Has me paranoid.
