I found a movie for its sequel, but not one for this game, nor any thread regarding it. I'm not ready to pick up another TAS yet, but this was a classic for me, and I definitely am considering doing it in the future. Has anyone tried this before?

I'll keep looking. You know, I have an original cartridge, so I suppose I could buy the dumping utility...

As far as I know the European and American version of this game is the same version.

This, and Super Mario Land, were my first videogames. I've wondered why nobody has yet run it...maybe I should?

FYI; If you pay Montana Max his requested ransom at the end, he just laughs, takes your gems and fights you anyway. Also, this game is sloooow moving though I loved it as a kid. Iff this game is of interest to anyone, perhaps doing TMNT Back from the Sewers (also slow moving but fun) would be worthwhile.

I considered doing BattleToads for GB a while back but decided it was just too slow to make an interesting TAS. It's hard to make it interesting when its speed is always interrupted and you're forced to fight some enemies that take a while to defeat. Maybe I judged it too harshly. I suppose I should at least try the first level.

Yeah, he'd take half, laugh, then you'd still fight him. I maxed out my gems (999) once, paid him, and he still laughed...so next time I maxed them out and didn't pay him as a challenge. Ah, the simple days... I'm really busy but I'd like to work on this or collaborate. If you make any progress, please post.

I wouldn't be starting until I finish Spider-Man / X-Men: Arcade's Revenge, and if you have a lot to contribute, I'd take your contributions (List you as a coauthor if they are significant), but I think it's fair to say that your IRC demeanor makes me a bit skeptical.

Just saw the published run. Nice job. I have an unfinished WIP lying around somewhere (never managed to get the basketball boss to stop moving around so much. I'm quite the noob at luck manipulation), and found a little trick back then that wasn't used in the current run. In the level on the train, you can actually prevent the player from shaking off the dust. Just keep jumping after you leave the tunnel until you finish the level, he'll remain all black (and some enemies will be, too). Just jump as soon as you land. It doesn't work on every frame, but it's definitely possible. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Maybe I jumped late in my test. When I recorded this, dropping one time that it must shake. Now review my run,I found it avaliable for avoiding shaking the dust. Thanks for your hint.
Do the work.

Why thank you, Mr. Say My Name Everywhere Brandon Evans. I'm flattered.
