I've planned to reencode every Virtual Boy movie in HD & 3D, to improve the quality, to give something unstretched, and to have 1-parted streams. I've encoded [1519] Vboy Teleroboxer by Ryuto in 05:40.42 to try it out. I've uploaded to YouTube and stuff, but it gives the exact same bad thing as sgrunt's encode. You can compare it by yourself. sgrunt's encode My encode Why the hell is YouTube destroying the video like that? Even weirder, this video and this one look fine. Have any ideas?

Don't do anything until you do the ones on Playlist.

But all of them are destroyed by YouTube's incapacity to make our movies in 3D. A YouTube stream for a Virtual Boy game may look fine on a publication's page, but if someone wants to see it in 3D, he has to go to the YouTube page, where the video is squashed horizontally.

I'll wait and see your results before I do anything else about this, unless you're not going to use YouTube's 3D feature.
