At the moment 2:13 ahead of abeshis TAS. Pretty damn impressive when you consider that abeshi has way faster text and one route choice Grunz made slowed him down initially and will only pay off towards the end. And no I'm not telling where the TAS is right now. It is for Grunz to decide if he wants to reveal it. But there is still quite some time for improvement left. :)

I was wondering how what the frame difference of the texts are. So far it would be 2:13 + that difference. If there any easy way for anyone to figure out this difference that would be great for the time Grunz's Tas is out.

No easy way I'm afraid. Once both runs are done somebody has to time the text-scenes in both runs. Then you have the difference. It's not as bad as in OoT, since the light arrow cutscene is basically just text and the longest cutscene here has barely any, but it's still quite some time. I would guesstimate ~3 minutes...

Grunz, you recently said that we could expect the MM run by the end of May. I'm going to be the guy to ask... Will it be so?

How is this magically going to make people focus on OoT. Bloob has no time to improve his un, swordless is too lazy to actually do a new MST. Nobody else wants to actually do full TASes of that game.

The run turned out amazingly well. Thanks to all of you guys and gals who put in time to make this so entertaining (especially MrGrunz)! For those who haven't seen it yet, here's a link to the submission: http://tasvideos.org/3194S.html

For a 100% run, always slow down time. What about doing a glitch that goes into day 4? You can go to the end of the game whenever you want with the glitch performed. In order to restore the pause feature, talk to the scarecrow. All heart pieces, all stray fairies taken to the fairy fountains, all items, all trades, etc. Getting a heart piece from the mayor after getting the couples mask can be done without the song of time.

I'm assuming he's talking about requirements for 100% (or what he thinks should they should be)

6hr 55min is the current unassisted record according to SDA.

Link to video This run beats the SDA-Record by 40 minutes in a single-segment. The requirements for 100% were all the items, that stay in your inventory permanently. This includes maps and compasses. A very important thing for a TAS would be to get all the Items from Kafeis Quest in one day. Is this currently possible?
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

That would be pretty awesome, but it seems the event flags for that quest are actually programmed correctly. Eg, Kafei only spawns in Sakon's Hideout if you stopped Sakon's robbery. The other thing we'd need is to be able to use the Priority Mail twice. You can *almost* duplicate the Priority Mail in a similar manner to bottle duplication, but the game doesn't let you pause until 1 frame after the letter is deleted from your inventory. So, I don't think this will work. That's not to say there's no way for it to work, but I've looked into it a lot.

Happy Mask Salesman Cutscene Skip Saves around 20-25 seconds off the current MM TAS.

It's not a simple Tas anymore. I wait for the day we will see a 100% TAS run of this game. I watched about 2 hours of that video and it's full of crazy stuff.
When TAS does Quake 1, SDA will declare war. The Prince doth arrive he doth please.

Fastest way to 5000 rupees is to sell the gold dust by performing the glitch at the curiosity shop. Do it before forging the razor sword into a gilded sword. Best after getting the giant's wallet. Special Delivery to Mama is at the Final day. 2 options: give it to Madame, or to the postman. Bottle Adventure anyone?
