So I downloaded this live wallpaper for my phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=710647 And it got me thinking: It would be pretty neat if there was a TAS as my live wallpaper instead of some mario AI... Maybe I should ask the encoders... or maybe there is a way to have an emulator running as my background...

You'd have to compress the movie file into a mobile app. Maybe get someone else's live wallpaper implementation and insert your own movie. That's pretty much the only solution unless you want to spend hours programming a live wallpaper.
