What plugins/settings are you using? I'm getting horrible graphical anomalies.

I was testing a new trick to skip Paramonia and Scrabania, but it didn't work, so, I'm back to my 99 Mudokons run. I'm redoing some parts of the run to include new tricks, fix obvious mistakes and improve some strategies.

I just found an 'epic' glitch. It allows Abe to become invincible for any amount of time by pressing a button. I'm still working out exactly how it occurs. This is for Abe's Exoddus. I don't know if it works on Oddysee. I'll post information once I discover how it works and if it is useful. It seems quite random.

It would be incredible if you could somehow skip Paramonia and Scrabania. An invincibility glitch sounds like one way to do it. :) Does it have something to do with the climb down glitch being used in the wrong place?

I did something similar in Paramonia, but I need a rock or meat to do this. Not really invincible, it corrupt Abe's sprites so the enemies can't harm him. What I was trying to do to skip Paramonia/Scrabania is different; talk to Sligs on the correct frame make them walk straight forward, even towards a mine. It works on many places, but on Mozaic Lines, the Slig stops before the mine.

I thought there was a glitch that allowed you to "keep" a rock even in areas where you shouldn't have one?

Here it is, the final run: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/881652012/Dooty-Oddysee-99-Mudokons.pxm if an early encode is to be made, this is the file to use.

Going to try making an AVI of this now. edit: AVI is recording now :) Will try to do a high quality encode for Youtube. Too bad Chrono Trigger is still uploading and I can't start on this one until it's done. edit: I have to redo the encode. :( Turns out setting PCSX to max FPS while recording works fine for normal scenes but not for the MDECs/FMVs, they get recorded way too fast. Kind of weird that the official guide says you should do this.

Thank you Dada, I'm doing the submission text right now (my nephew is helping me out), and it may be submitted on Sunday.

I seem to have some problems getting PCSX/kkapture to cooperate. Hopefully I'll have this fixed soon. EDIT: it's too bad you don't use Shrykull's power at the end though.

Sorry to give you such a trouble to encode my run Dada, thank you again. about the Shrykull power, the game locks up when I try to use it :( anyway, the submission text is ready, and it will be submitted soon.

Great run Dooty, I really enjoyed it. Any thoughts about doing the same for Abes Exodus one day? I am curious to see how many of your tricks you found in this one carry on to the sequel. Plus it has the 'All of you!' comand.

You probably already know this but, it is possible to do the Auto turn delay glitch by falling form an explosion (mine, grenade, bomb...) if you don't have enough space to run. ..and, Awesome run ! Waiting for Any% or AE

Hello, I have the same graphicals anomalies than TitusKWOK. So I went to that topic page 1 but the special games fixes I have are different : http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/3904/oddus.png

That's because the screenshot in the topic shows PEOpS plugin v1.4, rather than the one that's included with PSCX by default (TAS Soft Graphics). They look very similar, since the latter was branched from the former, but they're not the same. Click on the link in that post to download the right plugin.

I'm working on the bad ending of Abe's Oddysee this time, here's the first wip: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/555851373/Dooty%27s%20Oddysee%20-%20Bad%20Ending.pxm Unfortunately, skip Paramonia and Scrabania is not possible yet.

How close have you got to skipping the screen that you need Shrykull for?

I can make one of the Sligs walk to the left more than he normally do, but not enough for him to step on the land mine.
