We need a super fast SMB3 where you run into Bowser while being Starman.

I liked the run, but unfortunately I really can't see it being published alongside the existing runs, even as a concept demo. Voting meh.

Does anyone agree that I should do a warpless run of this hack?

Besides the visual glitching, is there anything that notably differentiates this from, say, watching the most recent SMB1 run at 4x speed? I don't think so.

No.
Sage advice from a friend of Jim: So put your tinfoil hat back in the closet, open your eyes to the truth, and realize that the government is in fact causing austismal cancer with it's 9/11 fluoride vaccinations of your water supply.

Sure there is. The gravity is affecting Mario at normal speed in the Superfast hack, which allows for different placement of jumps. Also the game seems to be trying to communicate its desires for suicide in this version.

It would have to beat NitroGenesis' time of 4:40.29 to be accepted.

Judging by this TAS by Acmlm, it doesn't look like it's possible. I enjoyed watching Acmlm's TAS. Awaiting an encode of your run.

Regardless of the competency of the TAS, not a very interesting hack.

It has been TASed before, but it was submitted by a banned user, and this submission is slightly faster. I still don't think that this hack is good enough.

And that's the fastest route through the level?

Voting No. This kind of messing around does not belong on this site. Now, a Sonic run with out the speed limiter as a ROM hack, that would be interesting to see.

I don't know. I figured he used the optimal route to finish in the fastest time possible.

We have a faster route in the current published run, which may be faster in that hack as well.

It would be really interesting to see if it was possible. I might vote Yes just for that.
