I did a speedrun of Space Quest 4 (CD Version) in 30 minutes. I have no way of recording it though. Here are some tips -Use the voice option, because you can skip it ALOT faster than the text boxes. -In the streets of Xenon, go straight for the sewers -The time codes are the same every time you play. Do a dry run first and write them all down. Then you can skip getting them all. -In the mall, all you NEED to do is get the clothes (I think you may have to also get the money from Zondra's bank account, it's been a while since I did the speedrun,) then go to the arcade, and the Sequel police will be there, then just do the Skate-O-Rama sequence and get the Time Pod. -Just skip the Space Quest 1 sequence altogether. You don't need the item you get there to beat the game if you know the values for the lasers in Vohal's Fortress ahead of time (Walkthrough) -Don't bother with the terminal's plug, since you didn't get the terminal or battery anyway, this is a no-brainer. The robots follow a set pattern. Memorize it then go to the supercomputer. You'll need the door code since you don't have the hintbook (Again, dry run or walkthrough) Now Flush only the one items you need to (Security Droid and Brain) -In the battle with Vohaul, don't mess around with the computer. Press only the buttons you must (Walkthrough)

I think the run should include a killer round of Alfred Chicken

You mean Ms. Astro Chicken, that's the arcade game in SQ4. SQ3 had "Astro Chicken."

It's said that on the kitchen mini-game, Darth Vader can appear if you get enough points. There was a page about easter eggs of Space Quest IV which also shown some secrets, I'll try to find it. Also, in many sierra games, you can set your character's speed. In King Quest VI, you can pass some rooms by going at max speed, that couldn't be passed by moving at a normal speed. Maybe you should try also that feature.
No.
