What you haven't seemingly noticed (emphasis in "seemingly") is your casual hurling of provocative swearwords and insults towards works that some people might appreciate, with complete disregard about what these people might feel when their favorite works are being bashed in such a vulgar way. Then if I object, you proceed to write lengthy rants, project your behavior onto me in the most ridiculous and transparent manner, and ignore completely any counter-argument made to your claims (in that you skip answering them completely, probably because you don't have an answer). Nothing of that is all that bad except for the swearwords and insults. Please stop that.

So your problem is me being honest about my feelings on certain movies and anime? Really? This is what you have a problem with? The problem is you never make any "counter-argument". God forbid you ever actually discuss anything about Code Geass and Twilight and what you like about it. Oh no. You haven't done that even once. Instead, you pick fights with a person having the fucking temerity to state his honest opinion that those series are juvenile crap. Because, you know, if you're honest about your dislike of something you might (shudder) offend someone that likes the show! But again, that's the attitude of a freaking 3 year old. Just because someone doesn't like my favorite TV show doesn't mean I think they're insulting me. And in your case it's even more pathetic, because you stated that you didn't even like Twilight that much, have never even shared your opinion of Code Geass, etc. You're just arguing for the sake of arguing. Either way, this is what you sound like to me; "Wah, mommy! He doesn't like Barney like I do! Wahhh! Bad man!"

Yes, and as you've just demonstrated, it can be expressed in a single sentence without wrapping the idea into superfluous debate where arguments are ignored anyway. It can also be done in PM to avoid cluttering the topic, if you really care about it. But let's not forget that people are entitled to their own opinion, and you shouldn't be insulted by their differences or the means of their expression.

None of the posts in this thread have been about the "speed vs entertainment debate". The entire thread has been about movies and people's opinions on them. Commenting on someone's language when expressing their opinion isn't so far off-topic.

Warp's whining has nothing to do with "profanity". (Although if it did, it would still be ridiculous) Here's the first post of mine that he decided to start a meaningless debate over. See if you can spot where I call the series in the topic an "expletive", or in fact, write anything particularly bad about it. I don't. Anywho, it's hilarious that the guy thinks he can suppress other peoples' honest opinions about movies/TV series because he personally disagrees with them. (Again, the reactions of a child) Either that, or he really loves starting forum drama and meaningless bickering. Focus- Two days ago, I had my most pleasant surprise in years when it came to upcoming movies. Apparently, my favorite comedy of all time, Johnny English, has released a sequel, Johnny English Reborn, that will make its way to US theaters this Friday. Starring the legendary Rowan Atkinson (Black Adder, Mr. Bean), the original was an absolutely perfect parody of the Connery/Moore Bond films I watched incessantly growing up, as well as being a terrific comic gem in its own right. I highly doubt the sequel will be as amazing, but the trailer was quite funny. The material there was all generic (which is fine in a comedy), but Atkinson's delivery made it humorous nonetheless.
