Hi everyone, its my first time here. I decided to start doing a TAS of Donkey Kong on gameboy because i really like this game and also because i didnt see a a TAS for it. For now its going very well but, the problem is: Every time im finished, i have to stop the movie (like everyone else i presume)and when i want to work again on it i have no idea how to start from the same point on the same movie. For now i just played the movie, paused at the end and started another movie from there but, im sure there is a way to do it on only one movie. Could somenone help me on this one plz?

I have never really used Visual Boy Advance, but I think it goes this way: * Before exiting the emulator, save a state * Exit the emulator * Start the emulator again * Load the same ROM * Load the save state you made.

VBA is a little unintuitive when it comes to resuming recording. When you want to stop TASing, enter frame advance and make a save-state where you want to resume. Record for a few more frames (no input), then stop the movie. When you want to resume work, load the ROM, load the movie in read+write mode, load the save-state, choose Resume Recording from Now from the Tools->Movie menu. If you want to resume work on an existing movie and do not have a save-state, play the movie back until a few frames before the place you want to resume from, then choose Resume Recording from Now from the Tools->Movie menu.
