This run is 2 min 30 seconds faster than your submission, so please check if there's a faster run before you submit. The low rerecord count indicates that you might not fully understand how to make proper use of save states, though I haven't watched the submission, so I could be wrong. Also, the fact that this is your 5:th submission in just 1 day almost makes me believe that you're trolling, but I could be wrong here too...

For posterity, here's the text of a PM I have just sent to McBobX. (I am not sure if he is reading the forum threads at all, or I would have posted this here first.)

Hi, McBobX. I've noticed that your recent string of submissions, for the most part, don't follow the [wiki MovieRules]Movie Rules[/wiki] and/or [wiki Guidelines]Guidelines[/wiki]. Please read those and ensure that any further submissions do follow them. It would also be a good idea to check on the site for previous runs of games you are submitting runs for and/or in the forums for topics related to games you are submitting runs of for any previous work that has been done, to see how your runs measure up. If you continue to fail to meet the rules and guidelines, we may remove your ability to submit movies until such a time as you demonstrate to the satisfaction of the community that you can produce runs that are up to our standards. Thank you.

I watched the run a few days ago. Please note that the run was made with the U ROM, as opposed to the J ROM as linked before. However, as to my knowledge, there aren't any visibly significant differences as far as I can tell regarding the two ROMs. This run just happens to collect a lot more fruit, and so delay the bonus screens. While this may be a basis for speed/entertainment tradeoff (see Sonic the Hedgehog), the author has not even acknowledged so. Please also note that the SMS Wonder Boy publication also obsoleted the linked Adventure Island run, but not without controversy. It is the responsibility of the author to make a post or edit the submission text to clearly explain the choices (such as version and goals) that he used for his TAS. Since this author has failed to communicate this (or communicate in almost any way for that matter), it is his own loss.
