Hmm...well, there's some good stuff in the submissions queue. Sonic 2&3, Mickey Mouse, Boulderdash... Sorry for whoring myself, but my Nightmare on Elm Street run on Nintendorecords may be worth considering. I improved ziplock's time by quite a bit, but didn't submit it here because the luck manipulation isn't quite perfect; it's somehow possible to complete the first three levels in order from left to right, which I wasn't able to achieve in that video. The play itself was done entirely frame-by-frame, and I think the boss battles are quite fun if nothing else... -Josh
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice

Too bad both of the Sonic runs and the Boulderdash runs were submitted too late to qualify. Honestly, I'm going to have to say either Highness's Mystic Defender or my Lion King. Acmlm's Krion Conquest deserves a nomination as well.

I agree with both Mystic Defender and Lion King. I also think Nitsuja's Magical Quest: Starring Mickey Mouse, /*-'s Aladdin, and Ziplock's Fist of the North star are worthy candidates. The last one might be a little too boring for others though.

I object this award category. Assuming "unpublished" means "submitted but not published", it can only mean one of these: - Never submitted - Submitted but not judged yet - Submitted but cancelled or rejected In the first case, it should perhaps be submitted, or then it shouldn't be discussed here at all. In the third case, it is not worthy of being awarded. In the second case, it's not eligible for awarding until it's actually judged. Even if it means that it goes to the next year's set.

100% agree with Bisqwit, this category is rather pointless. -Josh

I think this award is more intended for those that submitted a movie but the movie was rejected. Not because the movie was bad quality, but because it broke a rule. An example perhaps could be where someone did the run on a translated game. I'm not sure of what movies that fall into this category were submitted prior to April 1st. But for next year, I could see the Super Demo World run being a contender. Bisqwit, if you disagree with my logic, then I'll agree to drop this award.

I think it all makes sence. For example my movie wasn't bad. But not many people watched it and voted. It didn't qualify to get published even though it wasn't bad or broke any rules. It just didn't get the attention needed to get published.

Generally speaking, such movies aren't candidates for awards.

This is a case that could be considered. But I don't think such movies are candidates for awards on this site... especially since there haven't quite been any of movies of that kind (except ToP).

So are you thinking that someone might break the rules just to get into this category? Yeah, that could be a problem.

Bisqwit: Perhaps ToP then should get an award? There is also the point Highness made. "For example my movie wasn't bad. But not many people watched it and voted. It didn't qualify to get published even though it wasn't bad or broke any rules. It just didn't get the attention needed to get published." Could that have happened? It's understandable that the people handling submissions can't always review every movie, and not every movie gets too many votes because it's of an unheard of game.

Do you mean this would be a way to draw attention to movies still in the queue that should have been decided on already?

http://tasvideos.org/queue.cgi?id=543 That one. Mystic Defender in 6min and 13 seconds.

Okay then this category is cancled due to Bisqwit's reasoning.
