...wait. So all of us saying your opinion was invalid about X7 made you rebalance your scores, but you still rank X8 so low without having given any reasons? It seems strange to me that you would change the scores rather than attempt to justify them.

I've been playing X8 lately and I can honestly say It's not a bad game at all. Atleast Capcom put the series back in the right track. X5, X6, and especially X7 were horrible games. I don't see how you can rate X7 higher than X8. You should atleast backup your opinions.

Reasons for hate MMX8: - uninspired and stupid levels. - most of the wepons are more useless than in X7. - 3-D levels sucks: such as Avalanche yeti and Gigavolt Man O' War. - unexciting. - frustrating.
I am a Mega Man fan that hates Megaman X8.

Are you sure you're not mistaking X8 for X7? I can't say that X8 was the best Capcom game for 2004 (that's RE4) but it is indeed a pretty good and fun game, hard, very hard but not frustrating as you say, play Viewtiful Joe to see what frustration is.

No excuses can be made for Gigabolt Dokragen, but what's not to like about Icesnow Yetinger? And how can you say "3D levels suck" and then turn around and like X7 at all?

Axl was completely useless in X7 once you had X's Glide Armor completed. (Except for that one reploid in Snipe Anteater's level that you have to use his copy ability to get.) In 8 Axl has his own weapon setup and there's actually a reason to use some of them over his standard attack. I'd say having a useless character is more detrimental to a game's "fun factor" than a few weapons which are only useful in one specific area. Not only that, but in X7 Crash Boarski's weapon is completely useless (as opposed to mostly useless) because there's no boss that's weak to it. There's no weapon in 8 which doesn't have a boss weak to it, so even if the weapon is mostly useless, it's not completely useless. And to whoever said that X8 is better than X5&6: 8 is cel-shaded; Megaman was not meant to be cel-shaded.

This is the main reason that I hate Command Mission, but the simple fact that there is a megaman RPG pisses me off as well.

Negative things about MMX8: Why is the game named megaman x8? I mean now there are several characters to pick from and quite frankly, if it were more characters in the game I could have misstaken the game for Street Fighter or something like that. It first began with one character: Megaman but in this game they have really messed things up, the feeling of playing a unique megaman game is totally lost. The music is extremley bad. It seems that every new level only change a one tone or two. As if the music editors of the game were inspired by superhardmegarock (not that I don't like rock n roll). Almost all the characters looked like Ally McBeal, they weighed like 10 pounds and looked like each other, every character were so extremely skinny.

Megaman Network Transmission is an awesome game. At least that was my opinion when I rented it. Classic 2d MM goodness mixed with the EXE series weapon chip system.
I like my "thank you"s in monetary form.
