For some reason I can't view the newest Sonic3&K avi file by SprintGod because it's missing a vital codec. I've tried Windows Media Player. No go. I've tried DivX. No go. I've tired Windows Classic Player. No go. I've even tried RealPlayer. No go. They all require me to get a certain codec. I've already checked to see if I've gotten all the latest downloads, but most of them say that are none available to download to upgrade. I've checked the FAQs and the stickies, but none of them say where you can get one. I've even looked into the related topics, but they wasn't talking about my problem. If anyone can help me with this, then it will be greatly appericated. :)

You need to either get the newest version of VLC (Video LAN player) or update your codecs with the new FFDshow stuff... or something.

I don't recommend downloading FFDShow there. The version is 3 years old.

Also, it should be noted that the wiki contains a page for this sort of problems. http://tasvideos.org/Codecproblems.html But you should know that, since I think the descriptions for all h264-encoded movies contain this link.
