I'm surprised a thread for this magnificent game hasn't been made yet. I mean, since PSX TASing has finally taken off, this game is a MUST! Any% or 100%, either would be acceptable I'm guessing. But I have to ask, any estimates on how long a 100% TAS would take? I mean, on SDA they've been saying a 100% run could take over ten hours, but I'm not buying that. I mean, with a optimal route, it could probably be done in 4 hours, maybe less. So what are your thoughts?

I'm not. You're a generation ahead of the curve, Kitsune. Jak and Daxter was for the PlayStation 2.

I'd pay good money for someone to do a TAS of this game.

Then you first better pay good money to all the PCSX2 developers to make the emulator sync stable, currently there is no way of TASing PS2 games unless you are incredibly determined and can accept to restart almost every time you need to do a re-record.

There is this graphics plugin for PCSX2 it's really good it's called "Cutie" i don't know if i'm allowed to link it so I'm just going to avoid doing that unless aloud to :/ Cutie would be good to use as it prevents lag with the PS2 emulator better than the PCSX2 Graphics

Unless there is something that went along with the plugin exclusively stating that you can't redistribute it, I think linking it would be fine.

I just realized I never posted it here. I decided to make a segmented Any% TAS of this a couple of years ago. The Emulator is still not 100% consistent with things, so a true, one-segment TAS isn't viable still, but hopefully this will suffice for now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZX9_CsW1fc
