When you send fmv files to me, please put them to a zip file. My email box is exploding because people are sending me many >100k attachments, and I want to slow that down a bit. fmv files compress very well, so compressing them to a zip file is a good idea.

No. - some email software don't recognize it as a binary file and send it as a (broken) text/plain format - some rar versions use different compression methods which appear compatible but are broken when decompressed with incompatible version - zip is very effecient for .fmv files - zip is readily available for different operating systems, rar is not
