Double and triple posting isn't allowed. Put your shit into one post. It isn't hard.
That is simply false. Useless double and triple posting isn't allowed. My multiple posts are constructive and serve an obvious purpose that I have stated multiple times already in this thread.
As I've told you at least twice already, your double and triple posts are useless. There is ZERO REASON for them to be in multiple posts. There is NO PURPOSE to posting them separately. Listen for once, geez.

This topic is an endurance test. A very soul-draining one at that. For the sake of humanity, go exert your mental resources that are currently daftly spent into writing posts in this thread into something societally useful instead. Like making new TASes. To get back to the original idea about fixing the motto... sure, I guess it looks a little better that way. Now, just fix it so we can all go home!

Or don't fix it, because it's not that big of a deal.

I prefer the original motto. Grammatical correctness be damned. Who goes to the internet to expect literally perfect English anyway? I support the middle line being changed to "Tool-assisted video game movies", though.

I was lucky enough to grow up speaking English, and I am fairly well educated and widely read, so I just got that "feel" without much effort. Make use of me. Or fling nonstop invective at me. You know, either or.
Your supposed mastery of GLORIOUS ENGLISH LANGUAGE™
Note that I have never stated or implied that English is "glorious" or superior to any other language.
I found the proximity of your two statements to be pretty amusing here.

And you are wrong. There is at least one reason to do so, which Pointless Boy has stated multiple times: it makes him more comfortable to post and read in that style. It has [at least] one use, and is therefore not useless. How you value that use against your and others desire to have all of his consecutive posts mashed into one post is up to you. Also, you're welcome.* If we are going to change the motto, I would prefer "When human skills aren't good enough". As for the other bit, I like Tool-assisted video game videos, because I think it sounds funny. However, since what I think sounds funny is a terrible metric to use when deciding what should be on the front page, I do agree that Tool-assisted video game movies sounds better than what is there currently.

Additionally, I suspect most people recognize that my entire line of argumentation throughout this thread is essentially correct, see the whole argument as a pointless waste of time, and most of all don't want to get involved.

Mod edit: Merged triple post. --Mothrayas
I once again protest the needless and destructive modification of my posts. It is very clear I am being singled out and harassed by Mothrayas and FractalFusion for having the nerve to reasonably express my preferences and opinions, even where they differ from those of the mods in question, and further for having the sheer audacity to protest such loathsome, iniquitous persecution. I have done absolutely nothing to warrant this unheralded stifling of my inalienable human right to free expression. ---- Mod edit: Merged double post. --Mothrayas
lol :D *because by making this all in one post rather than putting it in several as an illustration of how silly I think the whole discussion about double/triple posting is, I put your feelings of exasperation and whatever else you would feel over my own enjoyment. There would have been a reason for me to do that (it being funny to me), and thus not useless.

I also prefer the current motto, "not enough" is a common expression and has good impact without the contraction, I think a better alternative would be to use the singular: "When human skill is just not enough" Googling "is just not enough" returns 45 million results, "just isn't enough" 15 million, "are just not enough" 38 million, and "just aren't enough" 3.2 million. Obviously getting more results doesn't mean it's better, but I don't have much to work with. Besides, I don't really care which one goes there, the difference is minimum. I also agree with putting "video game" instead of "game" and whichever choice you take you can make them occupy the same space by justifying. P.S: I really want to reply to Pointless Boy and say how much he missed the point, but now that we had our fun can we get that shit out of the way and not risk getting this locked, for the sake of everyone who replied thinking this is important? It is just too late now. This thread is just not necessary. I will just not let it sit open.
Sage advice from a friend of Jim: So put your tinfoil hat back in the closet, open your eyes to the truth, and realize that the government is in fact causing austismal cancer with it's 9/11 fluoride vaccinations of your water supply.

This thread is an example of overly pedantic obsession over a minor issue blown out of proportion. As demonstrated by jimsfriend, more can be done than simply rearranging words. Maybe other text elements are in need of a facelift, especially seeing as many of them were written by non-natives. I'm not in favor of locking threads liberally, but I won't oppose the decision in this particular case. A new thread could be opened with suggestions of possible textual and graphic redesign, including this one. And I encourage all users to just suggest things rather than deflating someone else's ego, attacking others' suggestions, or behaving like monkeys in general. This thread is a failure all around.
