This isn't happening on my side, as long as there a game running, maybe there a problem with your dll?

Possibly. I noticed that not all the releases came with all the files. I tried mixing and matching lua51.dll files to no effect. Assuming pcsx-rr-v013a is the current recommended version, are any changes needed to the default fileset?

in my folder there is... kkapturedll.dll libbz2.dll libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll libpng3.dll lua5.1.dll lua51.dll luasocket.dll zlib1.dll Also, you have to be outside of the blue menu, before "running the script" or it crash. I admit, this is the kind of detail that make the emulator somewhat unstable, but once you know about it, you can keep up your work.

Here a minor glitch with pcsx.unpause(). It manage to confuse me :)
Language: lua

--pcsx.unpause(); --pcsx.pause() pcsx.unpause(); while true do print(pcsx.framecount()); gui.text(25,25 ,pcsx.framecount()); emu.frameadvance(); end
Somehow, the content of the loop won't be executed. pcsxrr ver 13a

Is the version in the OP the most current version with rerecording capabilities? If not, where can I find the most current version? And, uh, is there one with which Valkyrie Profile works? Cuz it doesn't for the one in the OP >_>

I've downloaded the most recent version. It either tells me it can't be opened as an archive or there is no application to open it

Some programs will block the download due to the .dll being suspicious. If you disable your firewalls for the download, you (probably) won't have that problem.

Use 7zip.

I doubt that Valkyrie Profile would work, but before I managed to compile a svn build in cygwin, but somehow now it doesn't work. Currently I'm trying with visual studio 2010(ultimate), but so far I have no idea how to link the library, etc... There seem to be no documentation about this either.

Is there maybe controller support for this emulator as of yet? Because the default game pad plugin doesn't seem to be working.

Try Dr Hell's controller plugin.

Alright, thanks. Although, it doesn;t seem like a whole lot of games are supported by this emulator yet. At least, none of the ones I've been trying. Perhaps I need to download some different ISO and Graphics Plugins.. Any suggestions outside of the TAS Plugins?

I guess I'll take there aren't any decent plugins, then.

I use N-RAGE to do analog joysticks.

The DrHells Plugin works just fine for my PS2 Gamepad. I'm more interested in finding a good ISO and Graphics Plugin right now. I'm starting to think there aren't any outside of the TAS Plugins.

PCSX2 (PS2 emulator) isn't the same as PCSX (PSX emulator). PCSX2-rr is old and never actually worked properly. And due to changes in PCSX2, making a rerecording version based on modern PCSX2 version would be very difficult. :-/

Just wondering, does anyone know if the PCSX-Reloaded project could still get some support for TAS tools? I'm pretty sure that our all our dev are sick of working with both pcsxrr and psxjin for several reason, but maybe there's still some motivate guys with knowledge out there?

Found some kind of a source for EternalSPU 1.5 beta. Only 6 files. That's that? http://www.emulation64.com/files/getdownload/579/

Edit: Never-mind, solved it. I was using the plugin as my cd holder. When I should be loading the rom instead.
