Hey guys, I've been a long time lurker but this topic sparked something in me that made me sign up. Just wanna say I love the site!
To the people that are against this category, I ask you, why? It's just a silly little thing for the site. It's pretty clear that if you dislike this you're just as stupid as the reasons you claim that this category is invalid. I bet you don't even like AVGN! So what right do you have to say anything about it?
To the great, honorable members of TASVideos that uphold this decision, I applaud you! This has helped me find TASes of games I would otherwise never be able to find because of how completely fucking unintuitive the site layout is! Great thing you're doing. But I want to ask, can you make another category for games PewDiePie has played? :) I think this would appeal to even more REAL fans of video games!
PewDiePie's subscribers: 2.6 million!!
AVGN's subscribers: not even a million XD (800k)
Clearly by adding a category for games PewDiePie has played, or even mentioned at least once in his life, you would be appealing to an even bigger audience than you would with the AVGN category, which again I have to say is the greatest addition to the site yet! I was worried before that the site wasn't credible, and that they'd do something like reject a TAS simply because they don't think it looks good despite the TAS being incredibly technical, or because they just don't like a game. With this AVGN category, I can see you guys are all business and care a lot about fans of TAS and AVGN alike! So I urge the TASVideos staff to be brave, and add a PewDiePie category to compliment the AVGN category. Peace, bros!

PewDiePie Only plays PC games so it's quite pointless compared to AVGN who actually reviews on why he hates the game and trys to warn the people... we somewhat ignore that and try and prove it's possible (Cheeterman tas).
Also AVGN is part of ScrewAttack, Cinemassacre, GameTrailers and YouTube Proving that he is more watched and it doesn't matter how many "SUBSCRIBERS" you have you don't need many to get a-lot of views.
I would go on a full rant but I think it's pointless, so I'm not going to.

I want the AVGN category to become huge! I want people to mainly focus on AVGN and later PewDiePie TASes, leaving the other games behind. This needs to be a main point of the site, how you guys have made videos of games that not only exist, but have actually been acknowleged by PEOPLE that exist! I know that it will increase traffic to the site like crazy. You need that! If the PewDiePie category is made I will definitely tell the Bro army, and then PewDiePie will probably make a hugely popular video about it!!! Imagine the fame you'll get from all of us 15 year olds :)
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

I saw happy wheels and I laugh at you something UberHaxorNova started and he just "jumped on the band wagon"
Tasvideos is well known now that we have a new YouTube just for encodes going up and not clustering with other stuff tasvideos is well known thanks to a few youtubers.
Heck we were known before youtube back when it was Dailymotion now we have Japanese Niko video.

Their IPs don't match - they're not even from the same country.
(Of course, IP checks don't always prove everything so make of that what you will).
Also, CrocRunner42 posted once before in another thread, where there would be no reason to make another alt account for any reason.
Now please stop accusing people of creating alt accounts. It's not in any way constructive towards the argument.
