TAS - Super C in 13:00.02 by Soig.
Emulator used: FCEU 0.98.28. fcm was converted by FCEUX 2.1.5.
First, I want to say something. I'm sorry to submit my run so early. Maybe I should submit it after Heidman's submission published. But I've said that I'll finish my TAS today or tomorrow. So I submit it now. Please forgive me that.
From my submission list, you will see that my first submission is this game - Super C. I do 1P that time. But it failed. Due to slow speed and no entertainment. I've said that I'll redo this game's movie. But I didn't do it all the time. Because I don't know which type to do with this game. When Heidman submitted his pacifist run, I think I have found a good type record of this game. So I download and watch it. I find lots of improvements. So I couldn't wait to redo it. Now, I've finished it and publish it!
This submission beats his 1264 frames. About 20.07 seconds. Because of better randomness control, better weapon choice, and better boss fighting.
I control randomness to decrease the number of enemies. To reduct lags. I control randomness to control enemies' walk direction. Use F to fight boss. Saves lots of time. Other specific improvements can be seen in movie.
Special thanks: Thanks to Yunshui. He told me Heidman's submission. So that I found this submission. Thanks to Heidman. He shows us a lot of helpful bugs which I didn't know. It helps me a lot!

Soig, does it really matter what others think? Voting and the talk in this thread are all about just people that are not judges expressing how they feel about the TAS that is being presented to them. You have to realize that not everyone is going to like what you create for one reason or another. But the fact is that it does not matter. What matters is how you feel about it. And as far as getting it onto the site is how the judges feel. I created my TAS and am very happy with it. I dont care that people bashed it, or any of my speedruns over on SDA. You should just be happy that you accomplished something. Why is that not enough?

If you say that I shoot last enemy in stage 1. I want to say that I didn't kill him. Because I shoot 1 bullet, and it didn't become 4 bullets...
Maybe technically your shot wasn't the actual cause of his death, but you made it look so for everyone who doesn't see the Memory Watch window at the moment. What was the point of this prank? I'm also not happy with the inconsistency of this movie. The technical quality is good, but since the movie is not meant to go to the Vault, I would choose slower but more entertaining movie. Heidman's movie at least tried to be truly pacifist (but since now it's known that not all of the purple pillars in level 7 have to be shot, it should also be redone). But this new movie basically makes laugh of the "pacifist run" concept. It would be justified if these pranks increased the overall entertainment, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So, a No vote here, but I hope either Heidman or the author makes a new version, possibly with some speed-entertainment tradeoffs like being stuck under the lift platform in level 4 (that was in Heidman's run) or making the palette swap of the last enemy (in this run, level 8). These little things are what makes the movie worth watching. And if I want speed, I'll better rewatch this.

Heidman and I both have shooted enemies.
It was unavoidable to shoot certain enemies for Heidman, but not for you. Therefore your "unnecessary shooting" was interpreted in a different way.
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do

AnS, Now that I know it is possible to get past the purple pillars, I am going to be working on mine to get the shots out. I dont know if I will be able to, but I do at least plan on trying. Edit: I just went back over it, and he is able to get past the pillars that I shot because he shot the pillars just before them, giving him a different spawning location after death.

Sorry, I'm very angry now due to those 4 guys... Cancel it......
I hope you're not including me in "those 4 guys". I was simply giving constructed criticism. It would be easy to edit out the 2 or 3 shots that end up hitting enemies...

I noticed that by the start of Level 8, you have 2k more pts than Heidman. Where does this come from?

Each weapon pod hit and weapon pick up is worth 500 each. Might be from that. I dont know if he picks up anything more than me though

So Those stupid pillars don't move without being shot. Shame

Yeah, I thought as much. I tried googling to see if it was anywhere, since I don't have the game on hand. Thanks. Stylistically, I don't like the idea of damaging enemies unless it's necessary (manipulation). However, that's not enough to deter me from voting Yes for moon. Since Soig cancelled and seems quite ill-tempered, maybe you can improve on this, Heidman, as you stated before. Good luck.
