Introduction

This submission improves the unrejected (to be considered as an eligible choice to the vault tier) #3384: jlun2's NES The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 00:55.41. This run is 274 frames faster thanks to
  • luck manipulating monsters without using the pause
  • different route and reversed pick up order (biggest improvement)
  • "walljumpings" perfected
  • lag frames removed
For entertainment,
  • I try to dance when I have time to do that (RNG is equal with the devil. You don't want to mess with him).
  • Trying to not be boring when walking
  • Makes fool of dinosaurs
  • I don't color a dinosaur (there's a statistic about the relation between "depression" and "number of colored dinosaurs")

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: FCEUX 2.1.6
  • Aims for shortest input to complete the game
  • Entertains without losing a frame

Miscellaneous

I don't think this can be improved. Good luck with it! You should look at the rerecord count...
I hope you enjoyed my TAS. See you until my next tas (guess the platform game again! oh it's over. Yes, it will be NES I think.) =)

Nach: Accepting for vault.

Wow. I tried doing that, and it drove me nuts. I'll watch later.

A year ago AnS said me that improving tons of runs hands down would be the best advertisment for TASEditor. Looks like this started happening.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Feel free to count in all my TASes as an advertisement. However these runs are old.

A decent run not spoiled by length. Admirable manipulation. Probably vault it.
