Hey does someone think they could make a tool to TAS game maker games? If you dont know what those are, go to yoyogames.com. Anywho, it doesn't even have to be an emulator, you could probably make a exe that you load the game through and you have the tools to tas it. I want to be able to TAS techno the gamma project 2 and Sonic Advanced v4. Also theres no way I could be the one to do this, I don't know the first thing about it. Im just the one who comes up with the idea.

I've already started routeplanning An Untitled Story, but I was held up by it not actually being TASable. (Spelunky is another Game Maker game that would make for a good TAS.) One possibility might be to adapt Hourglass so that it can handle Game Maker. Sadly, Game Maker is closed-source, so we can't just modify its internals in order to create a TASing platform.

I found a gamemaker game that worked. But it needs Hourglass to have mouse support before I can TAS it.

What are the settings required to use a gamemaker game because I'm clueless

All the options in dll loading checked. Multithreading Mode - Allow trusted threads only And that should be it. I've only tested a game maker app known as "Click the Twilight Sparkle" (yea, I know), so I'm not sure if other settings are needed for other games.

Or you can use an existing program to do that.

My sisters "sims 2" files: uhhhhh .... Wheres the end of that number? My stuff: ive deleted lots of stuff Other stuff i cant delete: alot of it. Basically, my computer cant truly handle more than one emulator ata a time, and it cant handle big things. If a tas loader for the games was made, then i could probably tas those two games i mentioned without worrying too much about the file size. Btw, i have game maker on my computer, too.

Did you try deleting temporary files and your Internet cache? That should free up some space.

^ Ccleaner does a good job doing that done. Also, if you're under Windows, you can reduce the amount of space reserved for the Recycle Bin & disable Windows Backup (if you really don't use it), those two will free quite some space, if you haven't done already.

yeah, like only about a million of them --' im lucky i even have enough space to TAS. anyways its no big deal. If I really need something important, I'll ask dad if I can use his big computer. *ahem* ANYWAYS, don't you think making an exe loader for game maker games would be easier and cooler and more efficient that adding to the hourglass emulator? you can do that, but i think an exe loader would be kinda cool.

All you have to do is mention what the setting are changed and the people would change their settings to view the tas. It won't be hard. (cannot remember which windows tas does that)

My Ing's adventure TASes require specific settings to run/sync, and they still won't sync all the time lol.

Keep changing the settings until a combination works, and record said combinations on notepad.
