HELLO YES THIS IS RARITY

Real Comments

Chapter 1: We begin by having "Rarity", whom I swear looks like a happy, pink marshmallow, have an incredibly short conversation with "Cheerilee" about Double Rainbows and Nyan Cats before going around the castle court to briefly stare at talk to other ponies and help them fetch objects like a good little slave Samaritan. In the end, "Rarity" disappears and the gets real.
Chapter 2: Here we meet the Breezies, the fairies resident to this universe. Here "Rarity" is charged to help compensate for their inability to keep their possessions organized and is sent on an epic quest wandering through the woods picking up books and playing Whack-A-Breezy before they'll help her skipping things that would've made the run more interesting. They seem intent to be obstacles helpful, though, forcing her to pick up an item through collision detection and even barricading her from doing her job acting as a boost for a bit.
Chapter 3: Here we meet "Pinkie Pie", "Rainbow Dash", and "Spike" in the perfect little village of "Ponyville". Being the element of generosity we all know and love, "Rarity" greedily devours the cake and is forced to make another one. Being faithful to real life, you can't pick up more than 1 object at once.
Chapter 4: After nearly killing off her friends by her spontaneous urge to capture a butterfly, she meets "Cheerilee" and heads back to the castle.
Chapter 5: "Talk" to others and that's it. Yes, despite never having said a word, "Rarity" did indeed talked to her friends.

Baxter: The same applies to this submission as to the other My Little Pony submission: the gameplay does not stand out from non-assisted play and this can hardly be considered as a serious game. Rejecting.

This doesn't do any of the minigames except for one (which was faster to complete than to skip) because given the other run's reception, it'll go to the vault, which is speed-oriented, and therefore it would not make sense to complete the optional minigames.

But the minigames were what made my run halfway interesting! Eliminate them, and there's next to nothing going on!
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

But then it would not be the "fastest time". According to your submission, people found this boring. So if I included the minigames, it would be judged as a moon submission, and get rejected. Sorry. Encodes: Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5

Well, if all minigames were made, that would make for a 100% run...

Sorry for the late post, but the game doesn't care if the minigame's been skipped. It still acts as if you did it legit. :P Proof: The pinball machine at "Spike's" castle is a minigame, but even if you entered it and immediately ended it, the game still shows the jewel as if you didn't skip it.

This is some really slow and long fetch quest. It has also been purged of just about every minigame, by selecting a menu option to skip them. Based on the reaction from the previous submission's thread, and the reaction (or lack thereof) here, there is no doubt that, if it were to be published, it would be in vault tier. The question is, should runs like this be accepted for publication?

Well, Myst and "You got to burn the rope" was published, so why not? There's some aspect of TASing. For example, (very) slight luck manipulation with the NPC's positions, corner boosting, etc.

I did it. I made Tool Assisted Demos to verify these passwords: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1179894030/MLP%20The%20Runaway%20Rainbow%20Chapter%201.bk2 NNCKCBSB9 http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1230792985/MLP%20The%20Runaway%20Rainbow%20Chapter%202.bk2 5NCKCLSB6 http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1611223779/MLP%20The%20Runaway%20Rainbow%20Chapter%203.bk2 5NCKSPMFH http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1912861165/MLP%20The%20Runaway%20Rainbow%20Chapter%204.bk2 5QPS9PPFL Some minigames where levels don't affect much. Like coloring, dress-up, constellations, a Simon-like game, pinball, making sundaes, matching pictures behind kites. Minigames where levels make it harder. Caterpillar Catch, Bubble Fight, Hide 'n Seek, Rainbow Berries, Skating, Pony Rescue, Carriage Race
