Wiki: TasingGuide Goal: collect all info spread through multiple pages, overlapping each other, to one systematized guide, as was done some years ago with Wiki: EncodingGuide by sgrunt and reinstalled by me: Wiki: EncodingGuide/PublicationManual. What will hopefully be obsoleted by this guide: Wiki: TASHowTo Wiki: Guidelines Wiki: KeepingAnOpenMind Wiki: GenericTips Tools usage was moved to 2 pages: Wiki: TasingGuide/BasicTools Wiki: TasingGuide/AdvancedTools Added a page focusing on how to create art while TASing. Wiki: TasingGuide/TASArt Do not ask to remove all the Guide because you didn't like it. Suggest constructive improvements instead. Which still doesn't mean "being as sterile as possible", because TASing is not creation of something sterile, it is about creating something unique and interesting.

I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

We need to find good examples.

I think it would be nice to encourage people to work on guides in other languages too. Either full guides or just articles focusing on some specific technical aspects to begin with. I'm sure a lot of newbies are hesitant to post questions about some things they don't understand because they're not confident with english (and afraid to not understand the answers given ^^).

That's how I imagine it: Each page that has translations must store them as a special kind of subpages, so that once you put [module:traslations] (which doesn't exist yet), it gives links to translations in the same fashion [module:listsubpages] works. Encouraging people to actually translate stuff is a whole different story.
