http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

I nominate [2171] NES Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? by Bobo the King in 2:01:54.05 for being a long run where luck is constantly being carefully manipulated throughout in order to beat the game in the fastest time possible.

I like these two: [2024] DOS Commander Keen: Episode 2 - The Earth Explodes by turska in 04:59.78 [1977] DOS Commander Keen: Episode 5 - The Armageddon Machine by turska in 02:02.46
That's a rather unconventional take on the meaning of lucky. But indeed with all the enemy crazyness in [2024] DOS Commander Keen: Episode 2 - The Earth Explodes by turska in 04:59.78, I would consider that quite lucky as well.

My vote is for the "All Souls" Castlevania run. This TAS has not only unbelievable manipulation, it is highly optimized too...but I believe a lot of the entertainment factor comes from the manipulation. That is why it gets my vote for Lucky TAS of 2012.

That was some landslide.
