As for fighting games, nah. Besides the commonly-held opinion that this is THE worst genre for single-player, no NES fighting games that I know of have any impressive combos/glitches to show off. -Josh
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice

Josh the FunkDOC! I remember you, but you might not remember me. You sent in tips for my Streets of Rage 2 FAQ a long time ago. You didn't seem to think fighters were the worst genre then, though.

Joy Mecha Fight would make a good time attack. It's one of those things on the list "I hope to get around too eventually".

if you wanna show that you're good in a VS fighting game you won't be needing rerecording XD.

This was supposed to be a reply to Michael Fried's suggestion of doing a fighter...hit the new thread button by mistake. =/ Truncated: Ah yes, I remember you, that name sounded familiar. =) OK, seems like I'm using different terminology from some of you. I always thought that "fighting" referred solely to one-on-one games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and so on, and that "beat-em-ups" was the phrase used to describe Streets of Rage, Final Fight, River City Ransom, etc. Beat-em-ups can be quite fun and interesting in single-player, I definitely agree. For one-on-one fighters, though, I really don't think so unless you've got a whole bunch of different combos and/or glitches that you can show off in one sitting. Fighters were a genre meant first and foremost for vs. play... -Josh

I think Mighty Final Fight for the NES would make a neat timeattack. :)
