OK. Esta é a quarta versão do meu filme e provavelmente será a ultima.
Strider é uma obra prima no mundo dos videogames. Foi considerado o jogo do ano de 1990 pela critica especializada, um fenômeno nos arcades e sucesso nos consoles domésticos.
Além de ser meu jogo preferido!
O que podemos esperar de novo aqui neste filme? Muita coisa.
Para começar estou jogando no nivel HARD, por isso os inimigos estão mais fortes, alguns atiram em você e os mestres demoram mais para morrer.
Por isso achei que nunca iria bater a marca de oito minutos no nivel HARD.
Mas... Neste filme eu uso algumas rotas diferentes, algumas usando uma habilidade que chamo de "pulo extendido" que parece um pulo normal, mas com muita velocidade horizontal devido a uma falha de programação do jogo. Esse pulo pode ser visto durante a primeira luta contra o Solo e na fase do Brasil.
Outra mudança importante foi pegar um item que aumenta a energia na segunda fase, para derrotar o segundo "GLOBO" na ultima fase sem morrer.
Na terceira fase achei um atalho logo em que se sobe na nave gigante.
As lutas contra chefes foram jogadas "frame a frame" para garantir o maximo de ataques no menor intervalo de tempo.
O resultado é um tempo menor que o do filme anterior em um nivel de dificuldade maior!

very good :) good job i have one question: cant you save a second or two on the last boss if you dont go for the power up, and go straight to the boss instead? tradução: só tenho uma pergunta, será que não dava pra ser um ou dois segundos mais rapido no ultimo chefe se você ignorar o bonus e for pra cima dele logo?

Much tighter this time. I could see the differences in HARD. I think he needed the life-refill because he had only one hit left. He took two hits fighting the final boss. EDIT: Also, you should edit submission text to include "Uses Death as a shortcut"

This is exactly what I meant. Now I can vote Yes without all the caveats. The music in this game varies between horrible and kind of good.

One thing I thought of: can you attack the domes which shoot bouncing lasers from the opposite side of where you enter? There's a delay before you can start to attack anyway, and you have to walk to the opposite site afterwards anyway.

I do not believe that that would help a lot.. It is necessary be in the certain position in the screen for slide and do not receive mischief.

I don't know if it's the kind of thing that can be manipulated, but in level 1 you can run past the three downwards moving spike columns when they are fully retracted to gain enough acceleration to jump *over* the first boss area and continue. In the movie Hiryu gets hit and goes down into the boss chamber briefly before climing up. Whatever causes their descent and rise seems to be random. Afterwards when the screen is all glitched up and the first necessary death occurs, I couldn't help but think that scaling the side of the building and coming down on the other side (the normal route) would be faster. Exactly how much time is saved using the current method, in comparison? If one goal is to exploit glitches without affecting time, before entering the room with Urubolos you can jump through the ceiling right at the end of the coridoor leading into the room. Not useful, just another quirk in the game. Anyway, nice to see such a well executed speedrun for this game. The bit in the last level where the upside down run clears all the spike columns was simply amazing, I didn't realize such a thing could be done. ;)

I was never clear on what this panda head does? It's where that ammo is, and when it appears, it looks like it's mouth laughs or says something?
