I'm trying to tool-assist a Multimedia Fusion game called Freedom Planet to be able to search for bugs. I'm an alpha tester for the game and I thought this program would be handy if I ever wanted to see how to replicate a bug. The only problem is, however, it won't let me load a save state without either messing up the game or crashing it. Before you even tell me about the syncs: I've messed with them all and have had no luck. You can download it from freedomplanet.galaxytrail.com. I've tried everything and I've had no luck with reloading states. I can load them if I'm "behind" in the video, but not ahead.

Have you tried Hourglass with other Multimedia Fusion games? I haven't yet, but I think I should.

I may be wrong, but I'm under the impression that Nikujin is a MMF game. If you're still having trouble, look at the settings I used working on that movie and see if they help you load states without trouble. In particular, I recall that some functions could be enabled when playing back the movie, but had to be disabled while working or it would encounter issues like you described. Sorry I'm being so vague, it has been a long time since I worked on it.

Well, I kept trying to sync the playback, but had no positive result. The game stops at title screen and seems not to accept any key on playback. I sends you some texts by the official forum's message; don't know you've seen it.
