Hi people! I've a problem which makes me crazy >< I wanted to learn how to use PSXJIN or PCSX to TAS a Playstation game. I successed to make a movie (one minute duration). But I can't find how to continue the movie after the playback! When I playback the movie, it pauses at the end, and if I use Frame Advance, it displays me "Movie Playback Stopped" and I can continue to record. Of course, when I launch the playback, I uncheck the Read Only checkbox ;) Then, can someone help me please?

When in read-write mode, load a savestate, and the movie will continue to record from there. You can also save a state at any point during the movie playback, and then load that state (in read-write mode) to continue recording.

Make sure that read-write mode is on (press Shift+8).

Are you sure? If you're playing a movie, read-write mode is on and you then load a savestate, it should continue recording from that savestate on. If it claims that movie playback stopped, then you either didn't set it to read-write mode correctly or you didn't load a savestate correctly.

What I do : File => Movie => Start playback => Uncheck "Open Read Only" checkbox => Displays "Movie Playback started" Shift + 8 => Displays "PSXJin*:Read+Write mode" File => LoadState => I select the savestate file => Displays "Loaded State my-file-path" The savestate was made at the last recorded frame of the video, then I hit Frame Advance and it displays "Movie playback stopped"

What you just did is take it from Read+Write mode and put it on Read Only. Look at what you did carefully > Uncheck Open Read Only - Now in Read + Write Mode > Shift + 8 - Now you have reverted it back to Read Only

It seems the issue appears when loading a savestate through the interface menu (File -> Loadstate doesn't seem to go from read to write properly). Use a savestate through the hotkeys instead (Shift+F1 to F9 to savestate, F1 to F9 to loadstate). That should work.

Also don't use the inbuilt one (menu options) that psxjin provides it corrupts it.

Easiest way I can explain is by showing: The left shows the inbuilt usage of it and the small right is using a hotkey.
