FCEU0.98.28. Aims for the fastest time possible . Abuses programming errors .
HI,everybody. Are You also all right?Do you remember me ? I'm back!
Now.This movie is 229F faster than Hisatoki's
The largest improvement is the gate to warps . Stated as follows:
1.It is possible to jump by pushing the jump button at the same time as entering the sea though he normally can not jump when is in the sea, this effect is also programming errors 2. Take damage to save time.Especially the final gate,it is programming errors 3.Level select, the only difference is after World 4,Hisatoki selected to World 7,but I selected World 6. Because the gate to World 8 is only one step. But to do so,I missed a speedup. So run slower in last World.
I hope you enjoy this movie!

This run syncs on FCEUX 2.2.1. I am not sure why it would be made in fceu but if it syncs I guess it works. It doesn't look optimal but it is a clunky game so it very well could just be that but hopefully someone with more experience at the game could look into it. mklip2001 had mentioned that the published run was improvable so I don't know if this was as big of an improvement as he thought or not. Regardless it does improve on the run so I vote yes for vault but no for moon. I am actually surprised that the current run has a moon because in my opinion it is a pretty boring game.

Welcome back, max12187566! I see I was mentioned. I don't know for sure how much of an improvement to expect... I just saw that the SDA run used a different powerup strategy. That run went a little off-route to collect powerups which made the boulders stronger. max, have you tested that route? EDIT: Ok, I watched this movie. The route looks pretty good, but I'm no expert on this. I see you didn't get a powerup to get stronger boulders. Look at the description here: http://speeddemosarchive.com/KingKong2.html#SS The final boss looks slightly slower than in Hisatoki's run (you can see the first few robots walk for longer before they die). This run looks pretty good, but I'd like to hear if more improvements are possible.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

I enjoyed this. Never seen the game before but the run looks OK.

I've speedrun this game a little bit and I seem to remember being able to fully clip through the final door with only a single enemy shot, provided it hit me at the right angle. It might take longer to set it up like that though

Okay, so I wasn't able to do it in one hit but I did find a faster route through the door: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/7913917580367949 It's possible to get that one enemy to deal the first hit to you so you only need one additional projectile to hit you. (Demonstration purposes only, not optimized)

Will you upload the improved movie? I wanted to encode it, and to replace the submission as well.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Hmm, I suggested that I replace the submission file with the improved version, and you cancel it completely with some odd words... No need to cancel each time, you could just upload here and post a link.
