Hello. My main concern is on how it affected my computer after I did a T.A.S. video. My computer died. Right in front of me. Is that something the T.A.S. did? Or is it my computer? Thank you in advance. ～Donovan J.

It was likely a coincidence unrelated to anything FCEUX did. FCEUX is free, open-source software. If there was something devastating in the FCEUX code, it would likely be found and removed by any of the various FCEUX devs and power-users. The same applies for BizHawk, in case that was what you were using to play or create the TAS in question.

Also, aren't operating systems are supposed to protect the system from damage from misbehaving applications? Well, there is a possibility that a movie file from someone malicious could exploit FCEUX, but I view this as quite unlikely, and such things likely wouldn't cause the computer to "die". Also what does "computer died" mean here? - Crashed? - Powered down? - Crashed and won't boot again? - Crashed and booting leads to blue screen of death? - Powered down and won't boot again?

I think it'll been same as mine but it was by Counter Strike Source, I think his fan has crashed and his computer doesn't power on anymore
