Would it be possible to automatically create a shortcut or batch file that could launch Bizhawk with a specific rom? The idea I'm going for here is simplicity, it'd be nice to be able to have a shortcut to double click that instantaneously launched a specific game (with either a full screen, or window toggle even). Here's an example of what I mean, assuming everything's in the following directories: c:\bizhawk\emuhawk.exe c:\roms\supermarioworld.smc -fullscreen Just something like that. For all I know this feature probably does already exist and I'm just overlooking something again, but if not it'd be a neat feature to have. This should be low priority as it's not really a TAS feature, but it'd be handy to have something I could set up for my kids or myself on a lazy day.
I'm not as active as I once was, but I can be reached here if I should be needed.

Couldn't you just associate the rom file with BizHawk so that when you double click the rom it would open in BizHawk?

This seems like something that should be possible to set up with file associations. Have you tried double clicking the rom files and just setting BizHawk as the default application? edit: that's what I get for taking so long to post

bizhawk already does this no --fullscreen parameter or such, but give the name of any romfile as the first command line parameter and it will load that romfile (which is the same mechanism by which it's communicated the name of a romfile for a file association open)

Thanks for the quick responses! At the moment I can't change the associations for quite a number of reasons, I forgot to state that in the original post. Natt hit the nail on the head though so it's all good! Cheers!
