The years I have been around have been a blast. I congratulate all contributors for making TASVideos the awesome place it is.
I like how this website and a speedrunning site I visit daily were launched less than two months apart.

I first started with that SMB3 TAS from so long ago. Some people still think TAS = Cheating. I hope the demo at AGDQ will shut them up.

Yeah, it's been a while. I remember burning COMPACT DISKS (have you heard of those?) to keep those awesome avis made with famtasia from ever disappearing from the face of the Earth.
Not many websites endure for 10 years, and even less with constant activity and a steady stream of users, old and new.
Tasvideos is starting to be quite a veteran. Consider, for example, that YouTube is younger than tasvideos (YouTube was founded in 2005.)
The oldest archived version I could find with this site is on 6th June 2006. Notice how there is a very clear reference to Tool-Assisted Speedruns in the sites logo, and how this concept of Superplay has been manipulated over time.
