If you want me to try a game just send me your suggestion. But games that take about 20minutes maximum please! I will never do final fantasy or dragon warrior speedruns !

Legend of Kage (Kage no Densetsu) is doable in a few minutes, but you have to play a lot with quicksaves and try to press right buttons at right times to get the time down. The prerequirement in most levels is to kill certain amount of certain colored ninjas, and the ninjas appear randomly. Randomness means that different things happen when you move differently, but you never know which. By experimenting with hundreds of reloads you can get the favourable conditions to happen often. If you try it, do all the seasons until you get the "however" message.

Also try Kabuki - Quantum Fighter, i can't make a video myself because my emulator has an error in some stages, it gets completely dark and you can't see a thing, if you use an emulator different of VirtuaNes, then you can try it, it can be done in about 10-13 mins approx.

Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse is a really long game, it may take about 30+ mins to finish it, but it is cool anyway...

Just for fun I tried making a tetris video yesterday. I played the first 4 levels only. But it confirmed what I already knew. Tetris is not a game where you can impress with timeattacks. Using the quicksaves makes the game too easy - reaction time is really the point of the game. It's no more interesting to watch a computer playing. It'd make a screensaver perhaps but nothing else. Also, the Nintendo Tetris is bad at reacting to keypad input so it's pain to play at slow motion. Regarding Freaksh0w's list: Rygar is already being done by Warp (with Famtasia). Blaster Master is already being done by Lezard (with VirtuaNES for his own site). Bionic Commando is already on my idea list (not that anyone is doing it). Karnov has already been suggested on this forum (but I don't know if anyone is doing it). Castlevania 3 is already on my idea list (not that anyone is doing it). I believe most of Castlevania's tricks would work in it too. I also believe it's slightly longer than Castlevania and requires quite a some of more planning. Megaman 3 was discussed in the Famtasia thread. My experience on that game (having once done a timeattack on that) is that the game has way less potential for cool plays than Megaman and Mega Man 2 (though still more than say, Contra). Also the sliding is very hard to do nonstop, which makes it aggraving to do a timeattack on. I can't say anything about Rambo.

Hey Contra can be really impressive! ( I don't say that only because it's my favorite game)... I will try to repair my video someday and send it too you! You know what happen when you don't kill anything and there's too many sprites in the screen ? hehe

I look forward to that. I didn't like Mathieu's Contra movie very much - it's too obvious and very monotonous in my opinion. I published it only because I couldn't find any errors in it.

I will not do the Legend of Kage, I played the game a little and I can't even find anything entertaining in this. ... I will think of something else. My Super C run will not be released because even if it beat the record by 2 minute it's not entertaining enough, and i admit i've did it a little fast and it could be funnier and faster. I'm thinkin about Chip and Dale and GiJoe... I will give u news soon. And for Bionic Commando, i don't think i'm good enough for now to do a game complex as this, i"m practicing with little games first :)

If you're not using the VirtuaNes emulator, then you should try Kabuki - Quantum Fighter, i was making a speedrun of this game and it is really entertaining and fun and a speedrun of this should be very good to watch. I couldn't finish mine because the VirtuaNes emulator has an error in stages 3-4 where it turns black and you don't see where you're walking, i don't know if it was because of the version i have or if this happen with all versions, i haven't tried it yet.

yeah i kinda agree about tetris being boring, i tried to make one, as fast to max score as possible..i think you need to start at about level 17 or 18 (19 is just too damn hard) and get nothing but tetris's ..when you get to 120 lines, the level for some reason starts increasing (i'd assumed it would wait till i got to 180 lines, dunno why this is), and it gets tougher..so you cant do only tetris's .. i got to 800,000 that way, in less than 10 min i think...so max is probably just about 13-14 min or so...might still be boring, but might appeal to people who used to play tetris back in the day who wanted to see the score maxed asap

I have some suggestions of time attacks that would be interresting: Ufouria Zelda 2 Metal Gear What do you think? :)

When you play Zelda 2 in Famtasia, there's a pretty bad glitch. Pressing left and right at the same time causes Link to make jerky movements and move very fast left or right. You can also sometimes pass through locked doors while going very fast. This glitch would make it possible to beat Zelda 2 pretty quickly, but if you want it to look normal you would have to be careful never to press left and right at the same time.

Hmm, that is a bad glitch. It would not be as interesting to see it if emulator caused glitches were used. Still it would be fun to see a well performed time attack on Zelda 2. Working out the fastest way, and perfecting the use of fairy sounds hard, but certainly doable.

Blaster Master is already being done by Lezard (with VirtuaNES for his own site).
I look forward to this. Excellent work guys. I'm downloading VirtuaNES now and hope to eventually try one.

I was gonna suggest Metal Gear but cat beat me to it. Maybe not doable under 20 mins but could be fun to watch nevertheless. Also I'd like to see a timeattack on Wrecking Crew. =) Never beat that game but wrecked my joypad while trying. ^^

Wrecking Crew crossed my mind when I was thinking of games that can be played with two players simultaneously. However, I think Wrecking Crew is one of those games that are more fun to play than to watch. There was some other of that kind that someone here already said to be doing.

These i'd definately like to see Ufouria is one of the best nes games and underrated (though it wasn't published in states) I'm a zelda fan but only played zelda 2 few times (it's hard and not "real zelda") but it'd interesting to see bosses and how it's done properly :)
