As i told you repeatedly, you can maintain the higher speed from sliding for as long as you jump, so the best strategy is to jump off at the last possible frame.

Thanks to RachelB, managed to gain 7 frames, sadly, 2 frames LEFT only to do a sub 455

http://tasvideos.org/PlatformFramerates.html PAL runs at 50 fps, NTSC at 60 fps. There's also PAL60 for Wii games. So both of them should be eqaually fast. But NTSC is prefered on tasvideos.

May I please have dtm? Also what emu version? I tried TASing this game (just first level) one day. Pretty fun to TAS but those spinning ramps can be tricky to optimize. See if you can get anything there. Also Do you have the ram addresses? If so could you also upload those (sorry for asking for so much stuff :P). Also have you confirmed if corner boosting exists? If it doesn't that would make things easier (when I started part of the first level I didn't know about corner boosting). :P P.S. Also my run desynced so I can not give it to anybody, but I was just trying some stuff out so I probably could have optimized it more.

It is still possible for it to desync even with those setting (I used them). But thanks anyway. Also I'll add you in a moment.

So for anyone who looking for, and because everyone is not sure of which value is right one, I worked for several times to find the real values 154b8b0 IS X Pos 154b8b4 IS Y Pos 15e39ac IS X Speed You can cheat them, they'll modify the game except X speed, but I made some maths and yeah, it's the right one :p I can finally redo optimally the TAS

Good job beating the WR! Now that you've achieved your goal of setting the record for 1-1, maybe this game will sync well enough for you to continue on to 1-2.

I found the problem! I had the Nunchuk plugged in by mistake. The movie plays without problems now and syncs for me with the free DSP ROMs and just the Wiimote. Also, it syncs for me whether the GameCube controller is enabled or not, so I don't think you have to worry about that.
