hi there, i'm french so my english is bad i've search for hours on the forum and net but without any answer to my problem i use fbarr to record my run without any problem if i do the run "one shot" (without closing the emulator or have a piss or else) but if i want to continue it another day, i just don't find the way to....if i stop the record, impossible to restart recording at this exact stop point i want to start a part of the game then finish it later without recording all from the beginning...can some one help me please sorry if that question feel stupid but i really search before ask

If you have made a savestate, then it should be possible to load the latest savestate you made previously, when you continue the next day. If not, you can replay the movie until near the end, make a savestate, and continue from there. There movie must be replayed in read-write mode (not read-only), so that when the savestate is loaded, it will resume progress.

thanks for answer i can save and load without any problems my problem is that when i replay a movie, i can't record on this file anymore, when it reach the end(the replay just stop then pause and i'm caught), i mean it will create a new one if i click start record in a word, i want to record for example 70% of a run,and another day, playback my file, and when it reach the end, continue recording the last 30% on the same file in order to have my run complete in only one file (it not easy to explain in english)

Which version of FBA are you using? v0.0.7? Is "Open Read-Only" unchecked in Replay input? Resuming previous work is impossible in Read-Only mode.

After you started replaying the movie, did you try loading the savestate before the end of playback? It must be done before the end of playback.

ok i got it i just save before the end then load and i got the red circle on the top right but...a black screen in place of the game ^^' my bad... edit : ok i just redownload/reinstall fba and it works fine THANK you very much Fractal, i can finally start some serious work now

Interesting, unfortunately Im having the same problem using PSXJin 2.02 sv0(provided on the emulator page) I simply cant get the emu to continue recording a pjm file. Of course I disabled only-read mode but no success. No matter what I do loading a savestate while playing back a pjm the emu never automatically switches to record mode as it should. EDIT: Problem solved. In the PSX section of this forum I found out that PSXJin is buggy utilizing its menu functions rather than the map hotkeys. This solved everything for me.
