I noticed some jumps and movement that could be optimized, but I'm not sure until I get some feedback.

I can't perform the glitch. As hard as I try, it doesn't work. If only Dolphin could allow me to frame advance frame by frame and not 4 frames by 5 frames.

It's looking pretty good so far, though I do feel like the menuing is a little slow. Is that the fastest the game will allow? The movement seems a bit choppy in places too: It seems like jumping is slower and the first jump looks unnecessary. Some of the movement is a bit shaky (literally so), notably the jump to the cliff. Walking on the cliff edge had a couple odd moments, too, the main thing being at 0:33-0:34 where it looks like you run into an invisible wall and stop for a moment. Is that unavoidable? Also, it looks like you're using keyboard input for movement when the TAS Input plugin would be more optimized (and easier to use). Overall, like I said, it's looking pretty good! I don't know Dolphin all that well aside from a quick test I did long ago, but I'd assume it's possible to change the frame advance settings somewhere.

Thanks for the comments. The menus, as far as I know, are as fast as it can get. And I noticed, the first jump was actually unnecesary. The movements are shaky cuz of the horrible control (it is really freakin bad). And running on the edge is rather difficult since theres no invisible wall, you just fall out of bounds and you have to restart the whole thing all over again. Not sure about the frame advance option though.

Sorry, unoptimized, I did a comparison between my WIP desynced ( why I gave up)and yours, and mine is faster... Link to video Btw Samsara, we can't use TAS Input on Wii Games so that's why we're using keyboard :p

I know its unoptimized, but yours too hahaha ) While on the edge, its faster just to run instead of constant jump. But thanks for the new tricks though, it helps a lot. I'm still figuring out how to perform the skip glitch.

Fair enough. I've only ever used Dolphin for GC games so I didn't know that.

the developer of the TAS input plugin said he was going to come back around and add in wii controls, but that was long long ago.

I'll have to pause this. The frame glitch is really pissing me off and the current WIP got an error about stopping the movie... in half of the movie!!! But I'll continue until my problems get solved.

If there's no TAS plugin for Wii, you should use a controller instead of a keyboard. You can do more precise inputs with it.

Great idea, but the only problem is to keep the same angle everytime :p

Does keyboard inputs make the angle optimization any better? No. The controller is still better, unless you have insanely shaky hands.

I already posted five days ago how to perform the glitch. On the first frame the silver box appears, press A, then advance 3 frames with no input, then press A again. {A,(),(),(),A} and the skip will work. And yes, definitely invest in a controller. It's your only chance at making the run anywhere near optimized. I use a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad, but I've heard you can also use various console controllers (like for Xbox 360) or even a real Wiimote and Nunchuk if your computer supports Bluetooth.

My problem with that is the frame advance with the emulator. It goes 4 and 5 frames instead of only 1.

Thanks and yes it does. You can beat the game in less than 4 minutes. Its actually a ridiculously short game for being the Wii we are talking about, and not being the Gamecube or even Wiiware. Thats why I picked up this game, my PC can't handle long games, only short ones. That and also Vinesauce.

Huh, that's weird. I've never heard of that happening before. It wouldn't be a problem with your computer, since Dolphin should be able to control when it frame advances. Have you tried other revisions, for example, 4.0-500 or 4.0-600 to see if you get the same problem? Also, why is the thread title now "Ninjabread Man / Anubis II"? Those are two different games, and there's nothing about Anubis II in this thread.

Maybe there is lag because of last buttonpress in Level? Change it or wait some frames before finishing Level. Maybe then it advances less frames in the continue screen.

Anubis II is a different game, but is has the same gameplay. And both of this games are made by the same nasty developers and they just suck the same. About the revisons... I can't use them. My PC doesn't support neither Direct3D10 or higher, OpenGL2.0 or higher and Software Renderer, it really sucks not to have a good computer.
