A very cute little girl made some nice thing from 4 wires for me in 1990s when I also was a child. In 2013 I found that thing (don’t know how to call it) and suddenly looked at the RJ45 jack connectors and made this. Short, but still enough to connect 2 nearby home network devices. Putting memories in use. :)

Very strange. Seeing broken images again and again, I found out that imgur is showing 404 page when I try to open it from an Indonesian IP address; with a German IP address it is fine. That’s why I said “wow, imgur is using Apache under CentOS” a few days ago — I was trying to tell the post author that he used a broken link, now I see that the problem is a bit more complex…

Even simpler: the forum supports size parameters for [img], i.e. like [img=100x120]http://image_url[/img]. And I agree that we may want to do something about the massive page-breaking images here.

It used to be in the stone age that it was a bad idea to just put the original huge image on a web page and tell the browser to scale it down, because it made the page needlessly heavy to load. This was the time of dialup modems and slow landline connections (like eg. 32kB/s). Fortunately those times are long past, and thus it doesn't matter anymore, and thus it's ok.
