hey, does anyone know any good tricks or tips on a TAS of super smash bros melee? everytime i look at a tutorial its 2/3 years old and not good :/ if anyone could help me, thank you very much :) i did record a tas (not really) of the first event (mario vs bowser) and it was so slow when it played it to me (FPS - 26/27) so i had to speed up on editor but does anyone know how to make it faster, thanks <3

The emulation is slow because you have an ancient PC. TASes are timed by their framecount, not by their playback time on the emulator. When you make a frame dumb of your TAS, the movie will playback at the intended speed (60 fps), no matter how slow the emulation is.

Adding to what TASeditor said, you can make a frame dump by going to Graphics>Advanced and checking Dump Frames, then playing back your movie. Assuming you're using a recent (4.0.x) version, the full speed AVI will be created in My Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Dump/Frames. Here is a recent TAS that uses some precise tricks and explains them in the submission text. You might also want to check out this thread.
