I found this video that someone managed to get Abe's Oddysee running on DOSbox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dx0OvRKo9iU I'm sure this game will work on JPC-RR. Dooty needs some help on setting this game up. The PC version of the game will beat the current PSX version time because of the frame rate and the ability to fully skip cutscenes by removing the DDV files.

I don't think removing files from a DOS game is allowed by the rules. But it should be emulated better then the PSX version

You need the ISO file to run this game which can be downloaded from a numerous sites. If someone manages to get the game working with JPC, post some instructions here so that Dooty and I can start working on the PC version TAS right away.

There is no differences. Just faster frame rate and cutscenes can be fully skipped.

Well, in fact there are three differences, at least from the PSX v1.0, and they'll make the 100% run slower; 1) the infinite pickup glitch does not work 2) it's not possible to perform the screen boundary trick 3) there's no way to perform the dismount Elum trick But the faster loading times, better graphics and smoother gameplay will surely benefit the any% run.
I am old enough to know better, but not enough to do it.

Dooty's got the differences covered. Some guy on YouTube managed to get the game running on DOSBox but DOSBox isn't allowed here.
