No progress in 100% yet but I'm going to route soon and making tas actually. I'm wondering if this is fine or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpQpF8z5nXE This video shows I depleted a chest which can be hit multiple times instantly by screen transition. This works on such chests. Those who don't remember what's 100% definition, "deplete chests" is one of 100% condition.
If he allows to save time, I say yes for its use :)

Should be fine :) All you're doing is taking advantage of an exploit in the game.

I'm going to fight against Mack. I'm 767 frames ahead at this point. I'm not going to post WIP because route is same as before except less coins. I listed where I gained/lost frames below. +gain Using bizhawk (less lags overall) Using this trick (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpQpF8z5nXE) Good rng in battles Better movement in field -lost Bad rng in chasing Croco section Laggier in Mack's room Edit 1: I'm at the beginning of mine cart ride now. I'm 1676 frames ahead. I'm planning to edit this post when I reach to 4th star piece next time.

I make new post instead of edit because this is big process. I reached Beans Valley. It's 10858 frames faster because of cutting a encounter and another way of farming frog coin mainly. I'm using ant in Land's end instead of Sky Troopa in this TAS. Using ant is about three times faster than Sky Troopa because main reason is ant has no text. (5 seconds vs 15 seconds to get 5 frog coins). Also, ant gives coins too, which allows me to use 800 coins star from shaman early. This makes Culex fight faster about 5 seconds.

Apologies if this has been asked recently, but the Game Resources page points to a dead website (which I did access through the Wayback Machine), but the utilities on that page (Lazy Shell v2.0 specifically) aren't archived. Does anyone have that handy that they could send me? I'm considering trying to extract Timed Hit data (defensive mostly) for an RTA friend of mine who's trying to get good. Thanks in advance.

That's much newer than what was listed on the site; thank you so much, was0x.

There are some visual error when it comes to Exp gain. After defeating Cloaker, Domino and Earth Link / Mad Adder, you get 320 Exp pts., but it displays "64". It could be a reference to the Nintendo. Anyway, to show Jump's full potential. 3 jumps on the Terrapins, FP is restored when you get to Bowser. Jump on Bowser once, Kinklink twice, once in the tutorial battle, twice to save Toad for a Honey Syrup. If only I can get freebies...

Not sure if that was a legitimate question or not, but the answer is simple: 320 = 0x0140 0x40 = 64 This means that displaying the exp. gained is stored in only 1 byte while you can gain more than that, hence it gets truncated
