Strikers 1945 strider VS Castlevania Haunted Castle VS Super Mario Bros. is completly different then the nes version. especially with the warps. I remember i was like 6 or something when this came out in arcades and remember people jumping and outline of a pipe in 6-3 to get a warp. so yeah .. .please add mame videos

First they need to make a build of MAME with rerecording and whatnot, the basic record features for the default version suck ass as you can only record from the instant you load the ROM and if you want to record anything else whatsoever with that particular game, you need quit and reload it.

Sure, Bisq and co. will be happy to add Mame videos, but first we need a rerecording Mame. And none exists yet.

Actually, one does exist, if I recall correctly. A modified version by Finalburn, perhaps (but I probably have his name wrong). The problem is that it doesn't explicitly allow "record from start" and thus it can't be used for this site (because we're being precise and fair about everything.) At least that was what seemed like the major hurdle from my perspective (I never used it and watched other peoples' conversations.)

Or get the mame game on Nes. Like VS SMB, it is available on Nes.

It's perfectly possible to record legit speedruns for MAME as is...there's an official Twin Galaxies version of the emulator that disables slowdown, saves, cheats, etc. during a recording. This is what's generally used for MARP, but that's a high-score site. Maybe someone should start a similar site for speedruns... And yes, I know a lot of arcade games loop endlessly. In those cases I would advise just doing the first loop, like we do at this site. -Josh
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice
