I've uploaded a Doom I timeattack on a ftp server(not my recording, but I hope it is ok), it's worth downloading. :) Link: http://home.no.net/holien3/dm

Andrey Budko's movies are a bit faster, all you need is to make video rips of them. Only episode 2 is missing, but I'm assuming it's on the way, since his episode 3 was quite recent. He made the current doom2 TAS record. http://geocities.com/e6y/doom.html

Well, watched it. It was ok, but didn't measure up to the Doom II-time attack. This just felt like a bit sloppier, and it never really had any exciting points, like being at 1hp and facing numerous enemies...and he also got stuck on enemies several times, which hindered enjoyment... Of course, it could just be that Doom II is a better game. :)

yes, i agree the doom II run was much better, could be that it has much more open spaces when facing more enemies, in doom I there is more corridors with monsters just being in the way. this slows gameplay and makes it boring to watch, still cool though ^^

Doom1 is more maze like, while Doom2 is more strait forward, so Doom2 is more suitable for speedrunning.
