Post subject: Why aren't PS2 movies accepted yet?

I haven't been working on any PS2 stuff as of late, but I remember I did a little bit of the beginning of Kingdom Hearts. While PCSX2-rr is a serious pain to use, it still works. Not only that, but when I played back the movie, it synced just fine. True, this was on the same computer that made it, but it just makes me wonder that if PCSX2-rr, while a pain, works and you are able to make TAS movies on it, and provided they sync for other people, why wouldn't they be accepted? I'm not able to upload my KH file, as the site won't recognize .p2m files, even when compressed, so I'm unsure of how to get the file to others for testing. But, again, provided they sync, I see no reason to keep PS2 movies from the site.

PCSX2 still doesn't support lots of games; it desyncs all the time; it is not comfortable for TASing and it has its own rules for it, such as unskipping dialogs and scenes! I'm sorry for moderators which will stop the whine on our forum!
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

Desyncs all the time, no frame advance, this is not "real" TASing :p
Current: Rayman 3 maybe? idk xD Paused: N64 Rayman 2 (with Funnyhair) GBA SMA 4 : E Reader (With TehSeven) TASVideos is like a quicksand, you get in, but you cannot quit the sand

It's an unfinished core basically. It's too inaccurate for proper TASing.
effort on the first draft means less effort on any draft thereafter - some loser

"Very experimental and largely untested. Preliminary reports indicate instability with sync." Also you are forced to watch cutscenes and if you do skip the cutscene (usually Video Cutscenes) you will desync. Something which isn't good because we must skip cutscenes.
