And when imgur goes to shit? imgur is not a solution to web pseudo-permanence. The cycle repeats.

I second not using imgur unless you have an account because your image will be removed and replaced if you don't have an account. But when your image doesn't exist anymore it's not a large image which photobucket and imageshack does it's small... but a bit wide, it will also take some time to get a new image to take that spot. With the use of archive Inzult's original: But since today it's: On imgur when an image is removed it looks like this:

I have yet to see an imgur image removed. Same with imageshack, actually. I've seen a lot of photobucket images removed though.

There are several users with removed imageshack images as avatars currently, which as of fairly recently cause the above 200x200 "Click and discover Imageshack" image to appear. Inzult's avatar above is one example; others that currently are broken include nitsuja, theenglishman, Pasky13, Dragonfangs, AngerFist, and many others. I'll have a deeper look at this later, and will look into removing (or restoring in some cases) deleted imageshack avatars. EDIT: I've restored some of the above users' avatars now. EDIT2: And a load more.

I thought it had died a while ago. All the pics I uploaded to it are since long dead.

Why not just to enable avatar upload feature? TASvideos doesn’t have millions of users.

I'll just go ahead and remove my avatar. As much as I love downstab, it can never bring me what I truly want. Which is not to have to worry about my avatar in future.

I've never been able to open a puush.me link. I think they may have blocked some Swedish IP ranges.

Puush also deletes files untouched for 1 month. Its better for quick sharing than actually hosting images and stuff.

When I opened this forum from Indonesia, I also noticed some images missing. They were present when I opened the forum from Russia again. Already wrote about it, I think… Ah, right

Photobucket is sempiternal. Also, I don't feel like transferring my avatars for a forum I barely use over to the bandwidth I pay for.
