I'm considering many options, but the simple truth is, I don't have the time to try a dozen different approaches. I threw something together real quick which is easy. When I have time, I'll improve it. I'm reading what everyone says, some suggestions are easier to accomplish or more effective then others (in terms of the programming involved), and that's where my focus will be at the moment. I will also add that "demands", "insults", or "inappropriate language" will only serve to remove any interest I have on improving this.
That's completely understandable. I'll stop with the demands now. You have my word. But... I'm worried about something. Did I insult you? If that's the case, then I apologize. I meant no harm with my sentence. You can also trust I won't ever use inappropriate language again here. Sorry, that escaped from my mouth by accident even though I don't like to use it.

BTW, was there any one in particular which worked? Or did you just install all of them?

NOW it worked. Also liked how it's unaligned to the name. The '?' won't look awkward anymore.

It's working perfectly for me as well, and looks much better than before. ^^ Thank you very much, Nach! ummm... errr... I'm really sorry for bringing this up Nach, but It's just that there was no reply for when I apologized earlier, so I can't tell if you accepted it or if you are holding hard feelings against me... (I'm bad at this stuff) but I really hope the latter isn't the case...

I know I caused a hell storm in the OoT section when I first came here and have also upset a few people. I am a confusing person who has conditions beyond my control and I can't help myself. If you would like to know more information please PM me.
I’m sorry. Really I am... I am so sorry for what I did. Forgive me.

In all seriousness, you really shouldn't worry so much about Nach. Nach is a mature person who, if dealt with in a reasonable manner, will not harbor and maintain bad feelings. He tends not to get worked up over things since he's had many experiences with tons of different communities in his life. I am speaking for him because it's guaranteed that he wouldn't say something so directly and you clearly needed a direct answer.

Umm... is that so? Well... perhaps you're right, I tend to worry a lot about things. But I guess I should stop worrying now. ^^ Thank you for your information, Lex. And yes, Nach also strikes me as someone who is pretty mature. n.n BUT anyway... I've said enough and this is starting to go off-topic. I can't think of anything else that's relevant enough to add, and the gender feature was already implemented. As such, seems like I have no more reasons to post here. (At least not on this thread)

Well, I'm glad everyone likes it now using the new font, and the symbol is pushed a bit more to the right. I'm not upset with anyone, even if you're making it sound like I'm rivaling Methuselah in age, but I'm not going to be handing out custom symbols for users either. Thanks Warp for the suggestion, I'll keep it handy in case anyone needs some "special treatment".

I have noticed an overwhelming predominance of males in the vast majority of hobbies, and I have been wondering why. Typically you go to, like, a tournament of some tabletop game or something, and at the very least 95% of the participants will be male. This is true for almost all other hobbies as well. In some hobbies the distribution may be slightly more equal. For example this is often so with many sports. However, I have been wondering for some time now if there's any hobby or sport where the distribution is reversed, iow. the overwhelming majority of participants are female. And I'm not talking about hobbies that have traditionally been deemed extremely "girly" (like knitting or ballet), but something that has no such historical cultural burden, nor any obvious reason for it to be so female-dominant. After years of wondering this, I finally stumbled across such a thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roller_derby

In my experience, nearly all variants of dancing are done mostly by women. The only dances I've come across where this isn't true are breakdance, salsa and lindy hop. This is true even for dances like streetdance or ballroom, where there is, as you said, no obvious reason for there to be more females than males. For many partnered dances this tends to be a problem, with great shortages of males.

By any chance are the majority of these hobbies competitive hobbies?

Not any more than roller derby, I'd say...

Perhaps, but that's not my point. I find that it's more of a male trait to do competitive things solely for the sake of competition. Yes, many women are also very competitive, and there's also some competitive hobbies/sports that are dominated by women (roller derby), but I think the majority of competitions for the sake of competition is male dominated.
