I am currently working on a TAS video of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow in wich I name the file "NOUSE", so I can't use items such as potions and mind ups, and I wonder if this movie would be approved. Playing without potions means that you can't use the death warp glith, so the run gets longer. However, there are obsoleted runs of Castlevania AoS wich don't use the death warp, and this run could not be quite different from those obsoleted ones Also, NOUSE mode is quite similar to Julius mode: you must beat the game once to unlock it, so the movie must start from reset, not from power-off. However, if there is a normal AoS TAS, a 100% souls TAS, a Julius Mode TAS and a warpless TAS, why not doing a no items TAS?

Because it's an arbitrary branch and it wouldn't be different enough from a normal run to justify its existence on the site. Make it for fun, but just know that it most likely wouldn't be accepted here.

Would a naked AoS run be at all feasible? You'd just have souls and punching.

It would be the same as no items, in that it'd pretty much just follow the same route as one of the published/obsoleted runs, but a lot slower and less entertaining to watch. I think the branches we have now are enough. I can't think of any other categories that would be different enough to warrant publication... That being said, I'll still watch pretty much any run of this game.
