MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! I'm just watching fireworks everywhere from my house, and I wanted to make this thread to remember all the good (and not so good) times from this year. I've been here for a whole year now, and I learned so much from you people, it's been a tough year for me. I graduated from high school and I just became 18 this year, so stress was everywhere. I hope you have happy holidays, you and the ones you care and love, and have a happy new year too!

Merry Christmas to you as well, Kurabu! I remember turning 18 being a bit stressful, as well. It definitely took some getting used to around August when I realized I didn't have to go back to class again, lol. So many memories... I was a film projectionist for a multiplex cinema at that time, and we had some huge movies release around that period. Spiderman, Star Wars: Episode II, M. Night Shyamalan's Signs. Lots of good memories!

I guess my memories would include: Beating Ninja Gaiden (NES) several times. Watching episodes of Doraemon and a few other Fujiko Fujio anime before the English Dub of Doraemon that airs on Disney XD. Boycotting GameFAQs' community for good :) Used to traditionally use Windows XP, but since I got a new computer and the sound card I have doesn't support Windows XP, I'm using Windows 7 now. Great, not with this "loli" thing, it doesn't sound right to me. If I were to use that term in real life, who would know what that means?
I like Doraemon

Back on topic, my 2014 memory was completing a 2012 resolution. :|

I turned 21 this year, acquired a taste for beer, moved from working dinner hours to third shift a couple of nights at my local Steak 'n Shake, made the mistake of trying to mix third shift and a full college course-load, celebrated my 6th dating anniversary with soon to be wife (May 9 2015 for those wondering), and started a gunpla group on facebook with one of my work friends. Kind of an uneventful year in my opinion.
My user name is rather long, feel free to call me by htwt or tape.

40% of divorcees marry at age 20-24. 41% of first marriages end in divorce. It's a bad product. Avoid!

I hit two employment-related milestones this year; a year of steady employment (got the job I have now last July), and a full calendar year with the same employer. Also, a personal victory: Thanks to a friend who wants a roommate while his wife is serving in the military, I'll be moving out of my mom and stepdad's home in a few days. I plan to inaugurate my first time truly living apart from them by binge-watching Awesome Games Done Quick 2015. :3

Any given board is a community unto itself. Was there a particular one that turned you off? I keep thinking I need to get away from the cesspit of trolling that LUE has turned into, but there are always the occasional good topics.

Haha, I need to do that… I don’t have any 2014 memories in particular. I guess it’s memorable that I started like 3 TASes and didn’t finish any of them.

Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.
